Has anyone had any luck using Lightwave 3.5 Amiga's ARexx
port to render multiple scenes?
I have 13 50-frame scenes to render by Friday,
so I wrote an ARexx script to do them
automatically using the sample supplied
- each scene takes about 2 hours BTW
/* LightWave ARexx Example Program */
address 'LightWaveARexx.port'
'LoadScene 3D:db/TotalFitness/Scenes/TFO2.LWScene'
'SaveImages DDR:TotalFitness/TF02'/* activates IFF24 file saving */
'Render 1'/* starts rendering with automatic frame advance */
===== Script Cut for Bandwidth =====
'LoadScene 3D:db/TotalFitness/Scenes/TF13.LWScene'
'SaveImages DDR:TotalFitness/TF13'/* activates IFF24 file saving */
'Render 1'/* starts rendering with automatic frame advance */
end i
address
exit
When I run it, Lightwave complains that it can't open the first scene,
although the path is definitely correct. Snoopdos shows Lightwave
looking for a file that exists but failing :((
I've also tried Wavemaker2.0 to load and render the scenes,
which causes Wavemaker to give a "stack overflow" error,
and then promptly crash :(((
Can *anyone* can help with this? - thanks
